My name is Guy and this is my journey to challenge, inspire and change. To push myself far outside of my comfort zone and to hopefully inspire others to do the same so that together, we can make a positive change in the world.  So I came up with Miles for Wishes, with the goal to

Challenge – Change – Inspire

As Miles for Wishes I have raised approximately £6,000 for Make-A-Wish UK by taking on some incredible challenges since taking up running and cycling in 2017. I’ve climbed the National Three Peaks solo, cycled from John O’Groats to Land’s End solo in 9 days, cycled the National Three Peaks in 3 days solo and I’ve run 7 ultra-marathons (from Liverpool to Reading) in 7 consecutive days. On the 24 May 2019 I set the record for the fastest solo cycle of the Welsh Three Peaks challenge.

I’m not an athlete or an adventurer, I’m just an ordinary man who believes that by challenging ourselves we can change the world – I got tired of talking about doing it and used a crossroads in my life to start being the change I wanted to see in the world.
